Meet My Baby...

You might think it's weird that I'm talking about this item as "my baby", but trust me, it is! I even think each kit comes with a little of my blood, sweat and tears as an added bonus! (ha!) Meet our 2010 calendar!! While I have a hand in all our card kits, this is the one product that is truly mine from the cover to all the embellishments and every page in between. My baby. Now don't get me wrong, the amazing designers at BG totally take it apart and make it into the cool kit with dated pages and goodies and all (like I could do that part if I tried!), but those monthly pages are all from me to you.

And as we were very blessed with the success of our 2009 version, I worked extra hard to make sure the 2010 calendar was even better! I am so very proud of it and excited to say that this year we ordered twice the volume we did last year and are offering it much earlier. What that means is that hopefully stores won't run out of them as quickly as they did last year and that every one who wants one should be able to get one in plenty of time to make them as gifts (should they want to give them away! ;))

Here is the catalog image of the Calendar, then I want to share a few interior images with you - with and without a photo. I hope you love it as much as I do and I can't wait to see your finished versions! And I promise - as soon as I have one of these in my hot little hands, I'll be doing a giveaway here for someone to win it!

This is April's Page...

And September's...without photo....

And with one...

Have a fantastic hump day!

BasicGrey CHA Summer '09 Releases!

It's here, it's here! Today is the opening of the Craft & Hobby Association Trade show which means I can FINALLY share some of what BasicGrey has coming your way!

I have to start with my favorite of all the lines (I've been waiting a LONG time for us to do something like it!), here is BasicGrey's first ever HALLOWEEN line. This is EERIE! Eerie is DOUBLE-SIDED and features some cool new products - awesome epoxy stickers and our 3-d pops with glitter and bling....and seriously, HOW cute are those skulls for Trick-or-Treat favors?! I'm all about those! Not to mention this lines comes with some fantastic laser cut cardstock sheets (Doilies) AND some wicked designer bling that range from spiders to cobwebs and so much more!

Eerie

Here are a few of my samples using Eerie:

How about a little Eskimo Kisses? (I adore the name of this line!) I have to admit, I don't scrap the Holidays unless I'm forced to. I just can never seem to get into it, but these papers are the first in a while that really made me want to find those cruddy pictures from Christmas morning and get them in an album! ;) Again, like some of our Holiday lines in the past, Eskimo Kisses is again DOUBLE-SIDED and comes with a variety of new products like Eerie - including the Pops, Epoxy stickers, these precious little favor boxes and so much more.

Eskimo Kisses

I just have to pop in there to talk about this product! This is new for us and will be coming out in both Eskimo Kisses and the Nook & Pantry Line. They're called "Stitched Brads" and are basically tapestry on a larger (1/2" or so) brad. They are totally divine! Just look at these designs!

Here are a couple of samples using Eskimo Kisses:

Believe it or not, this precious, vintage-inspired line was my favorite non-themed release. This is NOOK & PANTRY! I loved how the patterns went together on this line, how incredibly versatile it was (boys, girls, birthday, everyday) and that once again, we're doing a DOUBLE-SIDED line! (And seriously - those cupcake favor boxes? Could they BE any cuter? (read that as I was Chandler Bing speaking! ha!!))

Nook & Pantry

Here are my samples using Nook & Pantry. (See what I mean about it being so versatile? Love this line!):

And a little mini recipe album:

And finally a little Indian Summer! I love love love the colors in this line. LOVE them. They are rich and bold and absolutely perfect for fall or anything where you want a little drama! And the Element Stickers in this line? I am completely in love!

Indian Summer

These are my samples using Indian Summer. I want to frame the first one to use as wall our in our entry way. I love the "home-y" feel of it!

And a little mini album celebrating my love of fall!

I hope you have enjoyed this peek and it's been worth waiting for! Stay tuned tomorrow - I'll be back with a few final products to share along with the one that has been "my baby" the past couple years. I can't wait to share it with you but I think it deserves a post all it's own! (hee!)

Have a fantastic day!

In the meantime....

Well as always I get a day ahead of myself (or a day behind sometimes too - oy!) and I have realized CHA does not officially open until tomorrow (thanks, Melanie!) so sadly my peeks have to wait until then. Dang.

HOWEVER....I do have the winner of my Random Prize giveaway to announce (so at least I'll make HER day!) and one more interim share until I flood you with things tomorrow.

Congratulations to Aracelis Nass! Whoooo hoooo! Please email me at kelly.goree@gmail.com to claim your prize! :)

And finally for a little share...a layout of sweet little Anna. Some of you might remember Anna from a baby album I did a year or so ago. Well she's all grown up now and a new big sister I might add. I just adored this picture her mama, Shelby, sent to me and had to scrap it! (Can you blame me?!) I'm not sure where Shelby got that hat, but I'll put an email in to her to ask because I know you all will want to know. (Haa!)

This layout features BasicGrey's Lemonade line and an awesome Becky Fleck sketch from Page Maps. How I adore that girl's sketches. They make my life so much easier some days and gives me the chance to just have fun with the paper and pictures. LOVE that!

Supplies: BasicGrey Lemonade papers, Element stickers, Pops and brads

Until tomorrow, have a happy Monday, all!

xoxo,
k.
